EXHORTATION

  1. WHAT IS THE GRACE OF GOD
  • 2 Cor. 9 v 8
    “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always
    having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good
    work.”
  1. An unmerited divine assistance given to mankind by God.
  2. A virtue coming from God.
  3. The kindness of God.
  4. The Help of God.
  5. An unconditional love of God.
  6. An act of favour bestowed on one by God.
  7. God’s gracious generosity.
  8. God’s unfailing kindness.
  9. Grace is the God’s given ability to do the unusual.
    10.Grace is doing things with ease.
    11.Grace is the favour of God to human beings.
    12.Grace is the divine ability to start and complete a God-given task in spite of
    oppositions, obstacles and adversities.
    13.Grace is an unmerited favour.
    14.Grace makes you to function without struggles.
    15.Grace is one way God makes up for our short comings.
  10. BENEFITS OF GRACE
  • John 1 v 16
    “And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.”
  • 2 Tim. 2 v 1
    “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
  • 2 Tim. 1 v 2
    “To Timothy, a beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father
    and Christ Jesus our Lord.”
  • 1 Tim. 1 v 2
    “To Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God
    our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.”
  • It is needed for progress, victory and success in life.
  • Grace makes you to rise again when you fall; Grace strengthens you and keeps
    you humble.
  • Grace makes you to excel far above your natural ability.
  • Grace sets you on the path of success and journeys with you until you achieve
    it.
  • Grace makes you still to excel in spite of your human weaknesses and
    inabilities.
  • Christianity is a journey of Grace and we can grow in Grace on daily basis.
  • God’s Grace is given to us at different times for different needs.
  • To make heaven is by God’s Grace.
  • It is the demonstration of God’s goodwill towards human kind through Jesus
    Christ.
  • The Christian life is completely dependent upon the Grace of God.
  • God’s grace compensates for human weaknesses.
  • God’s grace is abundant and exceedingly abundant.
  • Through Grace, God uses our very limited strength & resources to do the
    impossible.
  • With Grace, your lack, limitations and defects are fully covered.
  • GRACE has a voice. Grace is a CHARMING SOUND. All the earth shall hear.
  1. OUR SALVATION IS BY GRACE AND NOT BY WORKS
  • Eph. 2 v 8
    “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
    yourselves; it is the gift of God”
  1. WE HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED BY THE GRACE OF GOD
  • Rom. 3 v 21 – 26
    v.21 ‘But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed,
    being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets”
    v.22 “Even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all
    and on all who believe. For there is no difference”
    v.23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
    v.24 “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in
    Christ Jesus”

    v.25 “Whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to
    demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed
    over the sins that were previously committed”
    v.26 “To demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might
    be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”
  1. THE SAVING GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST IS AVAILABLE
    TO ALL HUMAN BEINGS WITHOUT EXCEPTION
  • Titus 2 v 11 – 14
    v.11 “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men”
    v.12 “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should
    live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age”
    v.13 “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God
    and Savior Jesus Christ”
    v.14 “Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless
    deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good
    works.”
  1. WE MUST ALWAYS APPROACH THE THRONE OF
    GRACE FOR MERCY AND HELP
  • Heb. 4 v 14 -16
    v.14 “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through
    the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.”
    v.15 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our
    weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
    v.16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may
    obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
  1. THE GRACE OF GOD MUST NOT BE TAKEN FOR
    GRANTED
  • 2 Cor. 6 v 1

    “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive
    the grace of God in vain.”
  • Jer. 9 v 23 – 24
    v.23 “Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let
    not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his
    riches”
    v.24 “But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows
    Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and
    righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.”
  1. Grace has one major rival – SIN.
    In a life where SIN increases, Grace diminishes. Where Grace increases,
    tendency to sin will reduce. Also, pride reduces Grace. Jeremiah 9 v 23 – 24
  2. The Grace of God must not be taken for granted.
  3. You can ask God to increase your GRACE DEPOSIT.
  4. If you embark on assignment above your GRACE, you will crash.
  5. Don’t compare your GRACE with the GRACE of your friends. Everyone has
    a measure of GRACE. Don’t envy or be jealous. Celebrate Grace. The Grace
    you don’t celebrate will not benefit you.
  6. Grace makes you to focus on the goodness and the faithfulness of God rather
    than your efforts/ability.
  7. We must keep asking for Grace, appreciating the Grace of God daily.
  8. Grace can be accessed in varying measures, to some people, grace may be
    unavailable, to some, only a little, while some will have it in abundance and
    for some others, grace will outnumber their needs.
  9. If you want to access extreme levels of Grace, do not frustrate God’s grace that
    is currently available upon you, don’t waste it.
  10. Don’t become a storage tower of Grace but rather, be a channel of Grace.
  11. Use Grace for the purpose it is given you. (2 Cor. 6 v 1)
  12. God wants us to be progressive by growing in Grace.
  13. God wants us to share His grace with others, for them to taste and see that the
    Lord is good.
  14. God wants us to be generous and live a holy life with His Grace given to us.
  15. When you have prayed, fasted and tried without measuring up to standard,
    then it is time to fall back on His Grace.
  16. Grace is in action at those times that the Holy Spirit helps us to pray in
    accordance with Gods will, when we do not know how to pray. (Rom. 8 v 26
    & 27)

    “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is
    made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my
    infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

    EVERY SPHERE OF LIFE

    “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and
    the grace of God was upon Him.”
  • Psalm 45 v 2
    “You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips;
    Therefore God has blessed You forever.”
  • Acts 4 v 33
    “And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the
    Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.”
  • Acts 6 v 8
    “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among
    the people.”

  7. The Grace of God will CONNECT ME TO HIGH PLACES this year in Jesus name.
  8. The Grace of God will MAKE ME RELEVANT this year in Jesus name.
  9. The Grace of God will DELIVER MY TESTIMONIES TO ME this year in Jesus
    name.
  10. The Grace of God will OPEN MY HEAVENS this year in Jesus name.
  11. The Grace of God will MAKE ME HEAR GOOD NEWS this year in Jesus name.
  12. The Grace of God will PROTECT ME AND MY FAMILY this year in Jesus name.
  13. The Grace of God will SHIELD AND SECURE ME AND MY FAMILY this year in
    Jesus name.
  14. The Grace of God will PROSPER MY WORK and BUSINESSES this year in Jesus
    name.

    TRADEGIES this year in Jesus name.
  19. The Grace of God will SPEAK ON MY BEHALF EVERYWHERE this year in Jesus
    name.
