love them, you will correct them.” - Parents, please, take note of the following counsels:
- Make out time for your children, befriend them.
- Don’t indulge your children anyhow by over protecting them.
- Teach them Godly and ethical values.
- Set good examples for them. Be their role model.
- Don’t pamper them with money and gifts anyhow.
- Set boundaries in dealing with them. Teach them how to set boundaries
always. - Study their personalities and temperaments and profile them.
- Put in control measures to sensor their exposure online where possible.
- Teach them to put God first in everything. THE GOD FACTOR must
be their Mantra.
10.Teach them to seek the face of God in making their choices in every
sphere of life.
11.Teach them to be Civil, honest and show kindness always.
12.Train them to love themselves and have self-confidence, high self-esteem
and mental fortitude/toughness.
13.Train them not to give up in the face of any adversity.
14.Train them to have success mentality, conqueror mentality and
possibility mentality.
15.Teach them not to allow toxic people make them miserable. They should
not befriend those who gaslight and display narcissism.
16.Teach them to choose their friends carefully and prayerfully.
Friendship is by choice and not by force.
17.Teach them how to manage success and failure in life.
18.Teach them hard-work and smart work.
19.Teach them loyalty, commitment, resilience, Grit, tenacity, Bravery,
critical thinking and problem solving skills, also management.
20.Let them know that for every choice they make, there are consequences
