YOUTHS! ARISE AND TAKE YOUR PLACE IN DESTINY

“Arise, Shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over, and His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60 v 1 & 2

  • Eccl 3 v 1 – To everything is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”
  • Assuming we are to spend 100years on earth. For illustration purposes, I will divide the years into four major segments as shown below: Foundational, Productive, Consolidation, Departure Lounge.
  • You are in your foundational/Productive years
  • Make use of your time now.
  • Remember “A TIME WASTER IS A LIFE WASTER”.
  • Invest your time well on Productive things.
  • Have the future in view as you embark on any venture.
  • How you spend your time now will determine your future.
  1. STRENGTH is on your side
  • Prov. 20 v 29 –The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of the Old men is the grey head.”
  • You have raw strength to work now
  • Channel your energy towards productive things.
  • Don’t allow negative habits sap your energy.
  • Strength reduces as age weighs on you.
  • Make hay while the sun shines.
  • Your strength today will not remain forever.
  1. KNOWLEDGE is on your side
  • Prov. 11 v 9 – “An hypocrite with mouth destroyeth his neighbour, but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.”
  • Abundant knowledge is available globally now.
  • Through advancement in Technology and Arts.
  • There is a global knowledge network and synergy.
  • Seize these golden opportunities.
  • Knowledge is power.
  • Develop a robust reading habit.
  • Build yourself a Library for Research.
  1. INFORMATION is on your side
  • “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go. I will guide thee with thine eye.” Psalm 32 v 8
  • “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not” Jeremiah 33 v 3
  • You are in the mainstream of INFORMATION AGE.
  • At the tap of a button, trillions of information can be downloaded.
  • Relate with information from superior minds.
  • The world is now an information village.
  • Ask the HOLY SPIRIT to help you.
  • Gather information and analyse them.
  • Build an information Network.
  1. OPPORTUNITIES are on your side
  • “Therefore, thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.” Isaiah 60 v 11
  • Opportunities abound everywhere.
  • swim in the ocean of opportunities daily.
  • Make use of them carefully to build a glorious future for yourself.
  • Opportunities wasted cannot be recouped, don’t ever mess up with opportunities given to you.
  • Ask God to help you utilise opportunities.
  • Defend every opportunity given with all your strength.
  1. PLATFORMS/MENTORSHIP are available for you.
  • “Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43 v 19
  • No matter how great what you have inside of you as Talents or Skills.
  • You need a platform to express them.
  • You need Mentorship to maximise your potentials.
  • You need to be guided right.
  • The crudeness of your gift must be refined or fractionally distillated for maximum achievement in life.
  • Never, ever abuse the platform and your mentors.
  • Ask the Lord to fine-tune your attitudes.
  1. GOD is on your side
  • “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8 v 31
  • The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instructions.” Proverbs 1 v 7
