EXHORTATION

  1. WHAT IS LAUGHTER?
  • Laughter is a sound of joy.
  • Laughter is showing emotion of joy.
  • Laughter is finding amusement or pleasure in something.
  • Laughter is a free gift from God.
  • It is good for our spirit, soul and body.
  • It is a tool to express our inner joy.
  • Life is better when you are laughing.
  • A day without laughter is a day wasted.
  • Rejoicing and laughter go together, receive them in Jesus name.
  1. GOD WILL FILL YOUR MOUTH WITH LAUGHTER
  • Job 8 v 20 – 21

v.20 “Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:”

v.21 “Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.”   

NLT

v.20 “But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked.”

v.21 “He will once again fill your mouth with mouth with laughte and your lips with shouts of joy.”

v.20 “There’s no way that God will reject a good person, and there is no way he’ll help a bad one.”

 v.21 “God will let you laugh again; you’ll raise the roof with shouts of joy,”

  • God is the manufacturer of enduring laughter.
  • He is the only one who can fill your mouth with laughter on that matter.
  • He will fill your lips with shouts of joy.
  • He will surely make you last on that matter in Jesus name.
  1. GOD KNOWS YOUR ABILITY TO ENDURE
  • 1 Cor. 10 v 13

 v.13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

  • Life is full of ups and downs
  • God will never allow you to be tested beyond your ability to endure.
  • God knows your breaking limits, endurance limits and your coping limits.
  • He will strengthen your coping mechanism in Jesus name.
  • He will make a way out for you and make you laugh last on that matter in Jesus name.
  • The present challenge will not drown you in Jesus name. God will use it as a raw material for your laughter in Jesus name.
  • This critical time will pass away soonest in Jesus name.
  • God will make a way of escape for you now in Jesus.
  • What you are going through will end up in Testimonies in Jesus name.
  • Shout: I will laugh last in Jesus name.
  1. GOD WILL LAUGH AT THE ENEMIES OF YOUR LAUGHTER
  • Psalm 2 v 1 – 5

v.1 “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?”

 v.2 “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,”

 v.3 “Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

 v.4 “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”

 v.5 “Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”

  • The on-going rage in your life shall soon expire in Jesus name.
  • Every wicked imagination against you will fizzle out suddenly in Jesus name.
  • God will laugh at all the evil gatherers against you, your family and work in Jesus name.
  • God will speak unto them in His wrath in Jesus name.
  • Those imagining vain things against your laughter shall be disgraced in Jesus name.
  • You will laugh at last on that mater in Jesus name.
  1. THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LAUGH WHEN THERE IS DIVINE TURNAROUND
  • Psalm 126 v 1 – 2

v.1 “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.”

 v.2 “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.”

  • A divine turn around provokes Laughter.
  • A dream like Testimony triggers laughter.
  • Receive that needed divine turnaround now in Jesus name.
  • The Lord has done great things testimonies, receive them now in Jesus name.
  • God will fill your mouth with laughter and your tongue with singing in Jesus name.
  1. THOSE WHO LAUGHED LAST AFTER GREAT TRIALS IN THE BIBLE
  2. NOAH –   9 v 1

“God instructed Noah to build the ark because of an impending global doom.”

  • Noah engaged in what seemed a senseless venture, though instructed by God.
  • He was mocked, laughed at, called names especially when he was  mobilizing the animals, reptiles, birds into the
  • But when the rain started it was Noah’s turn to laugh
  • You will laugh last on that matter in Jesus
2.    SARAH
  • Gen. 17 v 15 (Prophecy)

“And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call  her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.”

  • Gen. 18 v 1 – 14 (Prophecy)
  • Gen. 21 v 6 (Prophecy fulfilled)

“And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will    laugh with me.”

  • God had promised to bless her with a child.
  • By man’s knowledge, this was impossible because of her age.
  • Time was running out and nothing happened
  • To the Glory of God, at God’s own time, her testimony manifested.
  • She moved from barrenness to fruitfulness.
  • She laughed last. So shall your own case be in Jesus name. 
  1. JABEZ –        1 4 v 9 -10

 v.9 “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.”

 v.10 “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

  • His name Jabez was because the mother bore him in sorrow.
  • He prayed to God for an encounter.
  • The Lord turned him from being a sorrowful person to a man of blessing and abundance.
  • He laughed last and more than his brethren.
  1. NAAMAN – 2 Kings 5 v 13 – 14

  v.13 “And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?”

 v.14 “Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.”

  • Naaman an outstanding man, tutored in Military expertise
  • Captain of the host of the king of Syria.
  • A great man, Honourable with strength & vigour.
  • A mighty man in valour
  • But he was a Leper
  • God made him laugh by removing the shame of leprosy with an instruction to bath seven times in Jordan river.
  • He became whole.
  • He laughed last.
  1. BLIND BARTIMAEUS    –        Mark 10 v 46 – 52
  • Blind Bartimaeus –  that was not his full name.
  • His real name was Bartimeus Timaeus
  • A negative condition gave him a strange name.
  • They were using his condition to describe him as Blind Bartimeus the son of Timaeus (v 46)
  • Jesus intervened and the blindness disappeared.
  • He laughed last.
  1. JOSEPH –   Genesis 39 v 21

“But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”

  • Joseph was thrown into the prison.
  • He knew the purpose of God for his life.
  • While in the prison, God’s gift of dreams manifested in him
  • The gift took him to the palace miraculously.
  • He became the second-in-command in diaspora (Egypt)
  • He laughed last.
  1. MEPHIBOSHETH –         2 Samuel 9 v 1 – 13 
  • He was condemned to the life of uselessness due to his disability.
  • He was sentenced to abandonment.
  • The covenant made between his father Jonathan & David found him out.
  • God remembered him despite Ziba’s description of him.
  • The reproach of his father’s house was turned into honor by King David.
  • He laughed last.
  1. THE MAN BY THE BEAUTIFUL GATE –  Acts 3 v 1 – 10
  • The Lame man at the beautiful gate.
  • He was born lame.  (A condition from his mother’s womb)
  • He became a beggar.
  • He experienced the Miraculous when Peter & John were passing by.
  • He laughed last.
  • Today a turnaround miracle will trigger your own laughter in Jesus name.
  1. THE MAN BY THE POOL OF BETHESDA –     John 5 v 2 – 9
  • This man suffered rejection and stagnation for 38 years
  • The blessings of God located him and his suffering of many years was terminated.
  • He laughed last
  1. THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOODMathew 9 v 20 – 22
  • For 12 years, she experienced ceaseless issuance of blood
  • A condition that kept her miserable and despondent.
  • An encounter with Jesus brought her healing
  • He laughed last.
  1. HANNAH –       1 Samuel 1 v 5 – 20
  • Hannah suffered infertility for years
  • Her co-wife, Peninah mocked and taunted her
  • Prophet Eli mistook her for a drunken woman while she was agonising in prayers.
  • In her pain she cried to God with a vow to dedicate the child unto the Lord
  • God heard her cry and gave her a child and five other children (3 sons and 2 daughters)
  • 1 Sam. 2 v 21

“And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.)

  • Hannah rejoiced over her enemies.
  • She laughed last.
  1. YOU ARE THE NEXT PERSON –   Jeremiah 29 v 11

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

 Our God is a good God

  • He has good plans for us
  • His plans for our lives cannot fail
  • You need to have faith and hold on to Him
  • He would honour his words in your life and you will laugh at last in Jesus name.
  • Receive an expected end of laughter on that matter in Jesus name.
  • You are the next testifier in Jesus name.

 CASES

  1. There is a Pending issue you are trusting God to give you laughter on.
