SCRIPTURES
- Romans 9 v 14 – 18 Vs.14 “What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.”
Vs.15 “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”
Vs.16 “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”
Vs.17 “For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.”
Vs.18 “Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.”
- 9 v 11 “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
EXHORTATION
TIME & CHANCE
- If success in life is by hard work alone, those breaking rocks will be extremely successful.
- If it is by Academic Prowess, many professors will be swimming in affluence.
- If it is by Human Efforts, those with brilliant ideas and know-how will be jubilating always.
- If living long is by wealth acquisition, wealthy people will live forever and the poor dying anyhow.
- If being successful in any field is by your Talents/Anointing alone, one will be boastful of his strength daily.
- But the Bible has stated it expressly that it is not of him that runneth nor of him that willeth but of the Lord that shows mercy.
- The same road you travelled through and came back successfully swallowed others. Your survival is not a function of your car or expertise, it is by the mercy of God.
- If anything is good, it is God that has made it good by His Mercy.
- 9 v 11 “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

When Your time and chance click on the platform of the mercy of God, you are made.
- I have seen people with opportunities who missed it and died without leaving legacies.
- I have seen non-entities/written off people doing exploits by God’s Mercy
- I have seen many at the top who later crashed and were brought down.
- I have seen many who were down but got lifted up by God’s Mercy.
Isaiah 16 v 5 “And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.”
Your Marital throne, Financial, Future throne can only be guaranteed by the Mercy of God.

1 Cor. 3 v 6 – 7 Vs. 6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
Vs. 7 “So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”
Increase is by the Mercy of God
Psalm 51 v 1 – 2
Vs.1 “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.”
Vs.2 “Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”
- No matter how terrible your sin may be. No matter how terrible your past may be, God in the multitude of his tender mercies will forgive you and blot them out, making a new man out of you. (shout Lord have mercy).

- The Saul today can become Apostle Paul tomorrow, by the Mercy of God.
- The Armed robbers, Drug addict, Harlots, The Never-Do-Well today can become great tomorrow by mercy of God

- Mercy of God can provoke your Miracles
- Mercy of God can bring Activities back to your life
- Mercy of God can save you from reproach, shame and Dishonour.
- Mercy of God can deliver you from sudden death.
- Mercy of God can qualify you for greatness.
- Mercy of God can terminate long time problems.
- Mercy of God can open doors of Opportunities
- Mercy of God can bring you into remembrance.
- Mercy of God can give you uncommon favour
Psalm 57 v 1 – 3
Vs.1 “Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.”
Vs.2 “I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.”
Vs.3 “He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.”
- Mercy of God will preserve you until calamities are over in Jesus name.
- Mercy of God will prevent you from being swallowed up.
- Mercy of God offers security against Attacks, Robbery, Assassination and Accident.
- Mercy of God delivers you from Oppressions.
- Having done all and failed, Mercy grants us access to God on His mercy seat for a turn around.
Psalm 107 v 23 – 30
- A cry for God’s Mercy is needed at a Cross Road when you are saying:
- O Lord, why me?
- O Lord, I cannot go any further
- O Lord, prove yourself that you are there for me.
- O Lord, do something now or your name will be reproached
- O Lord, which way out, make a way fast.
- O Lord, can my dry bones live again?
- O Lord, don’t leave me like this
- O Lord, what else must I do?
- O Lord, I have no strength to go further
- O Lord, why are you silent?
Hebrew 4 v 16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Psalm 143 v 12 “And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.”

- A prayer of desperation must be preceded by the prayer of Mercy.

- Keys of Mercy, I receive them in Jesus name.

Thus, says the Lord:
- Many unanswered prayers shall be answered by the Mercy of God.
- Unusual and unexpected doors shall open to you by the Mercy of God
- You will receive SUDDEN HELP by the mercy of God
- Sudden Healing will be your portion by the Mercy of God.
- Fresh Ideas and Opportunities shall be released unto you by the Mercy of God.
- Brand New Testimonies shall be yours by the Mercy of God.
- Your Book of Remembrance shall be opened by the Mercy of God.
- The Mercy of God will OPEN DOORS for you and your family in Jesus name.
- The Mercy of God will CONNECT you and your family in Jesus name.
- By the mercy of God, you and your family will succeed in Jesus name.
- By God’s mercy, you will enter into a NEW SEASON in Jesus name.
- Mercy of God will ENVELOPE you, your work and family in Jesus name.
- Mercy of God will bring HELPERS to you in Jesus name.
