ANOINTING FOR DOUBLE CELEBRATION

“Thus, says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him. And loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut:”

“Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee”

• 1 Tim. 5 v 17

“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 

• Isaiah 61 v 7 (It is time for your double celebrations)

“For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore, in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”

v.18 – For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

v.19 – The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

v.1 – And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

• 21 v 8 (Abraham celebrated the weaning of his son Isaac)

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned. 

• 1 Chr. 13 v 9 – 14 (There was celebration in the home of Obed-Edom because of the presence of God (Through the Ark for three months.)

Vs.9 And when they came unto the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.

Vs.10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Vs.11 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.

Vs.12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, how shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

Vs.13 So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

Vs.14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that he had.
